Cool Bike Club Show & Shine — Summer Meet

What It Is

The summer show-and-shine is our biggest social of the year — an informal gathering on the Level where anyone can bring a bike and anyone can come and look.

There's no entry fee, no registration, no judging. You don't need an unusual bike to come; you just need to be interested in unusual bikes.

What We Expect to See

Last year's lineup included:

• A 1962 Moulton F-frame with original racks
• Multiple cargo bikes, several with dubious modifications
• A recumbent trike with a sound system
• About forty fixed-gear bikes, most of them beautiful
• One penny-farthing (unconfirmed for this year)
• At least three bikes that could most accurately be described as "a project"

Bring yours. The more unusual, the better, but genuinely any bike is welcome.

On the Day

We'll be on the flat grass area nearest the New Road entrance. Look for the cluster of bikes that don't match.

Food and drinks available from the Level's café and nearby spots on London Road. A few local vendors may be joining us — details confirmed closer to the date via Instagram.

No set end time. The last people usually leave around five.
